At long last Easyjet has opened a route from London Gatwick (LGW) to Thessaloniki (SKG). The service starts from the end of January 2008 initially running on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Average fares seem to be around 99Euro including airport taxes making it the most economical way to get to / from the UK.

The initial Winter schedule looks like this:

Departing Gatwick

  • Wed  Dep: 07:35  Arr: 13:05
  • Fri  Dep: 06:55 Arr: 12:25
  • Sun  Dep: 06:40 Arr: 12:10 

Departing Thessaloniki

  • Wed  Dep: 13:35 Arr: 15:10
  • Fri Dep: 12:55 Arr: 14:25
  • Sun  Dep: 13:25 Arr: 15:00
