I have had a request today from a Lead Clinician/Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist at a UK hospital. He is originally from Thessaloniki and is looking to return here to set up his own private practice, hopefully working with the English speaking community (although not just the English speaking community). As part of this he would like to meet with English-speaking professionals with whom he might be able to work. He is in Thessaloniki for a week during February.

He went on to say that ideally he would like to discuss how he could offer his services as a clinician to British people living and working in Thessaloniki. He mentioned that he has years of experience working with individuals, groups and organisations in helping them address personal and/or work related issues. These might include; work related stress, depression, anxiety, relational issues, etc. He has also been involved in running seminars and workshops for big organisations such as BSKYB and Northern Rock, addressing occupational issues, i.e. assertiveness, self esteem, managing stress, effective communication skills, etc. He feels it would be most interesting if a discussion could take place where he could elaborate a bit more on his career within the PRIORY, what he could offer, as well as what the needs here are on an individual or organisational basis.

If you feel you can assist with information and would be able to spare and hour or two to speak to him when he visits, or if you know of anyone else that would be useful contacts for him, please could you let me know by the end of this week (Friday 1 February 2008). I'll then put him in direct contact with you (or anyone else you recommend and provide details for) so that arrangements can be made.
